The DC SD50A IS Standard Dishwasher with Integral Softener Break Tank 500mm Basket is part of the DC range of frontloading ware-washers. It combines speed, strength and reliability with intense cleaning ability and an easy to use control panel which makes this an user friendly machine. This model is constructed using a double-skinned stainless steel cabinet and door to improve strength, thermal acoustic insulation and reduce running costs. The standard range comes supplied with rinse and detergent dosing units and can be fitted with integral water softeners to help protect the machine and improve results.

Optional Add-ons:
Drain Pumps are required when the waste services are higher than the drain outlet of the machine.
Water Softeners are strongly advised if in a hard water area. Improved washing results, reduced running costs. Internal water softeners are only suitable for cold water (less than 30C). When connecting your machine to a hot water supply make sure you specify a hot water softener.
Break Tank – Type A break tanks should be fitted to machines that are to be used as commercial dishwashers and connected to the mains water supply.
UK Water Board Regulations require commercial dishwashers to be fitted a Break Tank (Type ‘A’ Air Gap) wherever an installation is rated as being at category 5 level of risk or higher. Generally, businesses rated at category 5 or higher will include any high-risk areas such as Schools, Care Homes, Nurseries or Hospitals where contamination of the water supply would be detrimental to hygiene and health.
