Water Softener: If your water supply exceeds 100ppm hardness, a softener is essential. It significantly improves washing results, reduces detergent use, and extends the life of your machine. However, please note that internal softeners are suitable for cold water only. Therefore, if you’re connecting to a hot water supply, use an external softener rated for hot feed.
Electricity Supply: Before installation, be sure to check the machine’s amperage rating to confirm it’s compatible with your electrical setup. This step helps avoid power issues and ensures safe operation.
Drain Pump: A drain pump is required when the waste outlet is lower than your building’s drainage point. While some models include this as standard, others may require it as an optional extra.
Break Tank: To comply with water regulations, a Type A break tank is needed if the dishwasher is connected directly to the mains supply. This is particularly important in commercial environments where backflow protection is required.
Water Pressure & Flow Rate: To ensure optimal performance, your machine should receive a water pressure of 2–4 bar (28–56 psi) with a minimum flow rate of 10 litres per minute. If water pressure is too low, you may need to install an internal or external rinse booster pump.
