The Lightfry is the only professional air fryer available on the UK market. It works by using a three stage cooking process that results in food that is crispy and delicious, but with a fraction of the fat and calories of traditional fried food.
Stage 1: The food is cooked using steam. This helps to keep the food moist and flavourful.
Stage 2: The basket in the machine rotates at a speed of 5 revolutions per minute. This ensures that the food is evenly exposed to the hot air, resulting in a uniform texture and colour. The rotation speed can be adjusted depending on the food. For example, delicate foods may not need to be rotated as often.
Stage 3: The food is then cooked using hot air to crisp it up. This gives the food a crispy exterior and a moist interior.
In addition to being healthier, the Lightfry is also more efficient than traditional fryers. It can cook food more quickly and use up to 50% less energy.
Lightfry is based on Air Fry Technology, which means no oil mist. The only thing that exists is frying smell and steam from cooking, which can be filtered away. With the addition of the optional stand-alone extraction hood you can air fry wherever you want. Ideal for places with a lot of foot traffic, such as restaurants, cafes and other food service businesses, where traditional frying may not be permitted due to health regulations or lack of ventilation.
