Mixers

A commercial mixer is the mainstay of bakeries, restaurants and all caterers reducing labour compared with hand mixing.

Planetary mixers – are multi-functional mixers with a fixed, non-rotating bowl. The bowl is raised and lowered into the mixing position. The utensil rotates around the non-rotating bowl – the way the planets rotate the sun. These mixers are ideal for blending mixing and aerating all ingredients with consistent results. A planetary mixer is a great choice because of its adaptability.

Spiral mixers – has a spiral shaped agitator that stays stationary whilst the bowl revolves around it.  This spinning movement imitates hand kneading and rolling motions and gently mixes, ideal for users preparing large amounts of dough. These types of mixers are ideal for users who don’t need the versatility of a planetary mixer.

Mixing big batches in high volumes? A large bench mixer (that operates on a table or a stand) might suit you or even a floor standing mixer will get the job done quickly.
